Are fireworks legal in the UK?
In the UK, fireworks are permitted between 7 am and 11 pm. However, there are special exceptions: on Bonfire Night, they can be used from 7 am until midnight, and on New Year’s Eve, Diwali, and Chinese New Year, the permitted hours extend from 7 am to 1 am the next day. They can be used in your own garden but it is illegal to set them off in public spaces like streets or parks without permission.
Can fireworks be delivered in the UK?
Fireworks are allowed to be delivered in the UK. With Firework Crazy, our standard delivery service for Zones A-D is 1-2 working days and 99% of deliveries are made next day. Zone E is 3-5 days (there are no deliveries Saturday or Sunday). You can get free delivery when you order over £300. Category 4 fireworks are professional-grade fireworks that are intended for use by trained and licensed professionals. These fireworks are much more powerful and hazardous than consumer fireworks (Categories 1, 2, and 3), and they typically require special handling, storage, and display techniques. Do you need a fireworks licence in the UK?
In the UK, a licence or permit is not typically required for the private use of consumer fireworks (Categories 1, 2, and 3). However, while private individuals do not need a licence to use fireworks in their gardens within the allowed times, if you are looking to perform professional displays, store large amounts, or conduct commercial activities involving fireworks, you will require appropriate licences and permissions.
