YOUR SAFETY OUR PRIORITY

Explained
Not sure what you’re looking at? Here’s the quick version. Compound cakes are several fireworks wired together into one unit, light the fuse once and the whole thing runs itself through. Single ignition fireworks work on the same principle in a more compact format. Rockets go up and burst overhead, while roman candles fire a sequence of stars straight from a tube you can hold or stake into the ground.
Then there’s the finer detail work: Catherine wheels spin on a fixed point, fountains throw sparks and colour from ground level, mines punch a burst straight upward, and sparklers do the job everyone actually remembers from being a kid.
We stock every one of these types, so whether you want one big cake to carry the whole display or a mix of smaller effects to build your own, you’re covered.

FOR EVERY OCCASION

Fireworks For You
Every firework on this page comes with real specs, not vague marketing terms. Check the distance rating before you buy. It tells you the minimum safe viewing distance for that effect, so you can match it against your garden or display space. Noise level matters too, rated from 0 to 5 on each product, so you can see at a glance how loud something’s going to be before it’s too late to change your mind.
Got a small garden or noise-sensitive neighbours? Our low noise range and dedicated garden fireworks category are built for exactly that. Want the full bonfire night experience with room to back away? Our loud fireworks and semi-pro range give you more shots, more distance and more noise to go with it.

GREAT DEALS ON FIREWORKS

While we all know fireworks are fun, we have to remind ourselves that rockets can be dangerous if the right safety procedures are not followed.
Therefore, we have created a dedicated Firework Safety page for you to understand the precautions to take when putting on a display.

frequently asked questions
From buying online to staying safe, we’ve covered the essentials. Check out the FAQs to get started.
What age do you have to be to buy fireworks in the UK?
You have to be 18 or over. This applies to adult fireworks (categories 2 and 3) as well as sparklers; it’s illegal for anyone under 18 to buy or possess them in public.
Is it legal to buy fireworks all year round?
Not from a general retailer, no. By law, fireworks for private use can only be sold during set windows: 15 October to 10 November, 26 to 31 December, and the three days before Diwali and Chinese New Year. Outside those dates, they can only be sold by licensed shops, so check with us directly if you’re buying outside the main season.
What does the noise level rating on your product pages mean?
Each product is rated 0 to 5 for noise, so you can judge how loud something’s going to be before you buy rather than finding out on the night. 0 means minimal sound; 5 is as loud as it gets. If you’re buying for a noise-sensitive display, stick to the lower end or head straight to our low noise range.
What does the distance rating mean, and how do I use it?
The distance figure is the minimum safe viewing distance for that effect and is listed in metres on every product page. Measure your garden or display space against it before buying, not after the fuse is lit. If a firework needs more distance than you’ve got, look for a smaller effect or one with a shorter rated distance instead.
What's the difference between a compound cake and a single ignition firework (SIB)?
Fireworks come alive with a simple spark, lit once and set to perform a dazzling show without needing to be relit. Imagine a compound cake, a larger firework made by joining several smaller cakes into one impressive unit. This design lets multiple effects unfold in a single, connected sequence.
What's the difference between low noise and loud fireworks?
Low noise fireworks are designed to reduce the explosive bang while maintaining the color and visual effects. Although they are not silent, you will still hear crackles, whistles, and pops. Loud fireworks are the traditional choice, made for maximum noise and impact when noise is not a concern.
Are your fireworks suitable for a small garden?
We stock a dedicated garden fireworks category designed for smaller spaces. Each product lists its distance rating so you can check if it fits before you buy. As a rule, smaller distance ratings and lower shot counts work best for tighter gardens.
Do you deliver fireworks, and how quickly?
Yes, standard delivery is 1 to 2 working days across the mainland UK. Orders over £300 get free delivery to most of the UK, and deliveries to London and the Home Counties start from £9.95. Full details are on our delivery page.
