Mark Priest

Mark Priest is the founder of Firework Crazy, which he established in 2006 as a fireworks retailer before growing it into one of the UK’s leading professional display companies. He currently serves on the Management Committee of the British Pyrotechnists Association (BPA), a role he has held for more than six years, and Firework Crazy is also an associated member of the British Fireworks Association (BFA). Mark has taken part in consultation and working groups with the Health & Safety Executive (HSE), the Home Office, and other government agencies on pyrotechnic safety and regulation.

Mark holds ADR Class 1 qualifications and is a certified BPA lecturer and Senior Firer. Under his leadership, Firework Crazy has become a multiple-time winner of the UK Firework Champions competition and has been selected to produce championship finale displays, recognition reserved for the top competitors in the UK fireworks industry. Most recently, the team represented Great Britain at the International Fireworks Championship in Traverse City, Michigan, finishing runner-up and narrowly missing out to the host nation, Team USA.
