How to Make Next Year’s Fireworks Even Better

Bonfire Night parties are now over and you hopefully had a great time with family and friends. Although you were probably able to throw a great fireworks display to amaze your family and friends, we think we can help you make it even better next year. You can even use these ideas when planning your New Year’s Eve firework display.

Plan Ahead

If you want to ensure your firework display is a success, you definitely need to start planning it early. Early preparation is the best way to ensure you get just the right fireworks you want without paying a fortune. If you purchase fireworks in a rush, you typically end up getting a bit of everything, as selection boxes might have bestsellers substituted for the not so popular fireworks, for example. This means that your overall display won’t have unity and it’s harder to ensure your fireworks look good when displayed together.
Next year, as soon as you know when you are organising a Bonfire Night party, start thinking about the fireworks. Look around for different options and think about the kind of display you’d like to create.

Recreate Great Displays

You won’t be able to create the same display as London on a New Year’s Eve, but you can take inspiration from these sorts of displays. You can often see tips on how you could combine music with fireworks or what type of order professional companies use in when setting off fireworks. You can find firework videos in Youtube, as well as view performance videos for each firework from our website. With music, your display will come alive and have your guests dancing while enjoying the performance.
See what order these companies use and pay attention to the specific effects you enjoy the most. Once you have an idea on what you like, you can check with firework companies what are the fireworks they provide that can help you achieve the look you want.

Get Your Guests Involved

You should also get your guests involved with the display. You don’t just want them to passively stare at the fireworks and then clap at the end. If they feel like they are a part of the show, the more they will love it. As mentioned above, music is one way to ensure your guests feel part of the fireworks display.
In addition, you can also include handheld fireworks such as sparklers to your display. You can provide each guest with a sparkler and have the guests wave the sparklers in the air as you set off the fireworks. Additionally, you could go with lovely fire lanterns. Large Chinese sky lanterns are a fantastic addition to your display. Your guest will enjoy releasing sky lanterns at the end of the display and it will look magnificent against the smoky night sky.

Focus on Quality

Finally, you should definitely have a budget in mind and stick to it when you are planning your next year’s fireworks. Don’t be tempted to buy many smaller fireworks just because you think quantity trumps quality and you are on a limited budget. Often, a few quality rockets can end up looking a lot better than tons of smaller fireworks.
Remember that if you aren’t sure your budget is enough for a big event, you can ask your neighbours to chip in. If you get a few families from the neighbourhood to join you in organising the party, you can all enjoy a great evening of fun together on the big day!
Overall, the key is to plan early and carefully think what you want from your fireworks. Don’t go over your budget and add a few additional surprises to your fireworks display!
