A Slow-Sweeping “Gold Peacock” Fan of Nishiki Mines and Brocades

Pfauengold — not sure how you pronounce it, but “Pfau” means peacock, so we can only assume the meaning is “gold peacock.” Now, a peacock fan in firework terms is usually a rapid-firing fan that fills the sky with hundreds of shots in a short space of time. Pfauengold does fill the sky with gold and does sweep from left to right, but at a much slower pace.

Nevertheless, it’s a really impressive firework. Expect nearly a minute of beautiful Nishiki mines, with green strobes, teal dahlia, red strobe and gold spinners, all set on a background of gold glittering brocades, finished off with a pulse-firing fan of blue mines, gold spinning tails and dirty gold bursts.

Pfauengold is a Category F2 firework. Given the 25mm tube size, we recommend a minimum safety distance of 15 metres rather than the standard 8m F2 distance. Always read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions, use the firework only in a suitable outdoor location and keep spectators at or beyond the recommended safety distance.
