A Balanced Mix of Noise, Colour and Shape Across 71 Shots
There have been a few variants of the Peking Opera cakes now. This version, Opera 2, starts with a lovely lower-noise effect of silver chrysanthemums and dahlia stamens of various colours, all straight-fired, before launching a tri-fanned volley of dirty gold tourbillion tails that twist and writhe through the sky, before erupting into ti-gold brocade palms with lemon dahlia on the left, red in the middle and blue on the right.
Bright red tails rise to bursts of red and blue accompanied by silver snow (wintersweet), before another section of the opening effect precedes a double sweeping fan of gold with delayed gold time rain. It closes with a finale volley of double-layered red strobe mines to striking bright white comets, finishing in gold and blue.
71 shots over 40 seconds from mixed 20mm, 25mm and 30mm tubes, with the maximum 5/5 noise rating. A great single ignition firework containing a genuinely balanced variety of noise levels, colour and shapes.

Safety Information
Peking Opera 2 is a Category F2 firework. Given the mixed tube sizes including 30mm, we recommend treating it as if it were Category F3 for distance purposes — a minimum safety distance of 25 metres. Always read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions, use the firework only in a suitable large outdoor location and keep spectators at or beyond the recommended safety distance. Cakes should always be secured so they can’t fall over, there are several ways to do this. Watch our Safety videos on how to secure your cakes with [bricks] or [wooden stakes]
Never hold a lit firework or return to a firework that has failed to ignite. Children and pets should remain safely away from the firing area.
