Safety Information

Opera Furious Dump Cake is a Category F2 firework. Given the 30mm tubes, we recommend treating it as if it were Category F3 for distance purposes — a minimum safety distance of 25 metres. Always read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions, use the firework only in a suitable large outdoor location and keep spectators at or beyond the recommended safety distance. Cakes should always be secured so they can’t fall over, there are several ways to do this. Watch our Safety videos on how to secure your cakes with [bricks] or [wooden stakes]

Never hold a lit firework or return to a firework that has failed to ignite. Children and pets should remain safely away from the firing area.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a dump cake?
A dump cake fires all of its tubes at once rather than in sequence, creating a spectacular, instant sky-filling burst rather than a spread-out display.

What effects does Opera Furious produce?
It fires from a four-pronged fan, with 3 shots simultaneously from each prong, producing blue to red strobe mines with brocade and glorious colour dahlia star bursts.

How is Opera Furious best used?
It’s a great way to open a show with instant impact, or to add a sudden burst within a finale sequence.

Why does Opera Furious recommend 25 metres if it’s Category F2?
