Hope & Glory by Brothers Pyrotechnics

A Proper British Tradition: 139 Shots Of Hope And Glory

Hope & Glory is a fantastic name for a firework. With fireworks part of British tradition for 400 years, we’re surprised it hasn’t been used before. This compound from Brothers Pyrotechnics comprises four barrages, each boasting 30mm tubes, for a total of 139 shots, all in about a minute (57 seconds). With 1807g of powder, a 5/5 noise rating and a 25 metre safety distance, it’s a proper flag-waver.

Over Two Shots A Second

That’s over 2 shots a second, which is a lot for cakes containing 30mm tubes, where the effects last longer in the sky.

Red, White And Blue, And More

We were hoping for a patriotic cake full of just red, white and blue, and although it does deliver those, it contains other effects too.

The Sequence

It starts with blue tails to bursts of gold brocade crown with green strobe, then gold brocade crown with silver dart tips, before sweeping fans of red and blue with gold crowns. A V firing section follows with more gold, accompanied by blue peony and red blink, then more fans and a W firing section.

The Finale

A lovely layered finale of blue mines, white horse tails, red blink and lots of gold brings it all home.
