Freak By Vivid Pyrotechnics

49 Shots of Double-Effect Colour From 25mm Tubes

Freak was one of Vivid Pyrotechnics’ fastest-selling cakes when it launched in 2023, and it’s easy to see why. This 49 shot, 25mm max bore cake produces a genuinely impressive spread of effects for its size, running for 40 seconds with a 4/5 noise rating.

Each tube delivers a double effect: a mine of blue stars with red strobe, followed by a red glitter tail before bursting into a run of colours that just keeps coming. The sequence works through red ghost, multi-coloured pastel peony, red and green peony, and lemon and purple peony, before silver serpents transition back into red ghost. From there, the pace picks up with tourbillion tails to red and silver blink, building to a double finale of gold tourbillions bursting into bright red and blue stars.

Freak shares its DNA with sister firework Havoc, and between the two, this pairing has become one of Vivid’s most popular launches in recent years, a genuine crowd favourite rather than a one-hit product.
